One of the godsend of modern DSLR technology use the autofocus feature but as useful as autofocus is, sometime the camera gets it wrong and focuses on the wrong subject. The four primary focus modes ( continues, single, automatic, manual) give you a tremendous amount of flexibility to capture exactly what you want. Do you really need a full frame camera to be competitive? Your camera is simply a tool, one that you use to create your vision of the scene infront of you. A camera can only do what you tell it to, so it's not going to capture that nice photos app by itself. But what if a camera doesn't perform upto your expectation? Then it maybe time for an upgrade.
