    Dr. Helane Fronek

    Helane Fronek MD, FACP, FASVLM, FAMWA initially practiced internal medicine and entered the field of venous disorders, in 1985. Since then, she has been an integral part of the development of this new medical specialty. Helane is a past president of the American Society of Vein and Lymphatic Medicine, the largest medical organization devoted to vein care. She was the first recipient of its prestigious Leadership Award and was later honored as its Honorary Member. She is also a respected speaker and educator in all aspects of diagnosis and treatment for venous disease and communication in the medical arena. As Assistant Clinical Professor of Medicine at UC-San Diego School of Medicine, she taught medical students the art of medicine including such topics as communication, ethics, and professionalism and was the course co-director for The Healers Art elective. In 2009, Helane began training as a Co-Active Coach and holds the Certified Professional Co-Active Coach (CPCC), Physician Development Coach, and Professional Certified Coach certifications from the Coaches Training Institute, the Physician Coaching Institute, and the International Coaching Federation. She writes regular columns on physician coaching for both Vein Magazine and San Diego Physician magazine. Helane is passionate about helping her clients, most of whom are women physicians, find greater enjoyment and balance in their lives. She especially enjoys helping them find authentic ways to communicate for greater influence and impact, and assisting them in uncovering limiting beliefs that have kept them from finding the success and joy they seek, replacing them with more empowering and truer beliefs about themselves. Watching her clients see possibilities they didn’t see before and then step forward into their lives with greater confidence is truly thrilling and inspiring.     Dr. Robyn Tiger

    Robyn Tiger, MD, is a physician & trauma-informed self-care coach. She founded StressFreeMD, a wellness practice that provides freedom through self-care education. Dr. Tiger utilizes her unique combination of trainings in medicine, yoga therapy, meditation and life coaching to educate others in stress management, burnout prevention and relief. Her teachings focus on complete physical, mental, and emotional well-being and resilience.  Dr. Tiger's innovative CME accredited program, Rx Inner Peace, was created at the request of several busy physicians seeking an accessible self-paced online self-care program. It contains the most effective evidence-based self care methods compiled from several years of providing physician education. she also created the Self Care Shop which houses additional accredited self-care programs open to everyone.  Dr. Tiger is a Western Carolina Medical Society Healthy Healer Partner, Surge-On App Key Opinion Leader for Self-Care for Surgeons, faculty for Trauma Informed Yoga Therapy, Advisory Council member of Yoga Therapy Today & yoga therapy health, and is an O2X Human Performance Specialist for first responders. She earned her MD, completed an Internal Medicine internship and Diagnostic Radiology residency at the Medical College of Pennsylvania and also completed a fellowship in Body Imaging at Thomas Jefferson University Hospital.  Her deep passion to fully help her physician colleagues and patients grew out of her many years in medical practice experiencing and witnessing firsthand the need for self care education.
