    Engineering the World's First Solid-State Quantum Information Processor

    Scientists have long dreamed of building a quantum computer capable of processing enormous amounts of data and solving complex problems at ultra-high speeds. Now a team of Yale engineers has taken a major step forward by building the world's first solid-state, two-qubit quantum processor capable of running simple algorithms.
