Alex Senti Has a Picture of Furries in the Desert

In today's episode, I sit down with Alex Senti. Alex is a filmmaker, podcaster, and so much more. Several years ago, Alex boldly packed up his life in Tucson, Arizona, and set up shop in New York City. His magnetic charisma secured him a spot in Bushwick's highly competitive scene of natural-born creators and unique folks. Alex is currently hard at work on a new film. He also consistently produces content for the Male Loneliness Project, a high-concept immersive audio-visual media experiment that has exploded in popularity recently. When he's not creating, he's kicking back and actively participating in 10+ group chats. Something you may notice early in the episode is that on top of all these impressive undertakings, Alex also happens to be a nice young man. So, I thought to myself, what's the catch? Is Alex hiding something? I decided to do some digging to find out what he's hiding. I braced myself for the worst as I instructed my swarm of agents to scour the internet for evidence of misconduct on Alex's part. My agents searched everywhere and found nothing. "He's clean," they told me. Unsatisfied, I instructed them once more, this time demanding that they look harder. When they returned empty-handed again, I felt enraged. I was so angry that I began to fear for the safety of the people closest to me. Suddenly, one of my more evil agents suggested that we fabricate an old tweet in order to gain full control over Alex. I considered it, but decided that this was not fair. My agents begged me to deploy them on this evil mission, but I refused. I called an emergency meeting with my swarm and suspended the mission indefinitely. Alex is clean. He's a good guy. It may be hard to accept, but it is the truth. Enjoy the episode. Chris Carroll Has a Picture of Two Old People in Love

Chris Carroll is a writer and artist living in New York City. This is Chris' third appearance on Picture Time O'Clock. Since we last spoke, Chris has moved to NYC and subsequently doubled down on his love of linguistics. The following changes have occurred as a result: lost midi controller, purchased domain name, made a LinkedIn, started an online publication, replaced old friends with new (and better) friends. Chris, fuelled almost entirely off a whimsical worldview, coupled sparingly with some black tea, maybe some Ritalin he found in a pair of old pants, 1 tbsp of DRX-2, a handful of Skittles Gum, and the occasional milky cocktail, has been casually churning out 250 WPM on his 2019 Intel MacBook Pro that "always has to stay plugged in." Topics Discussed: * Marriage as a trend* Radiohead* Human Benchmark Reaction Time Test* The Luna Controller App* Semi-Exclusive Rooftop Literary Gatherings* Cooper* Changing someone's life by accident* Grieving Bosses* Growing old together* Corporate lemmings* Taking pictures of trash as a first date concept* Footstep sounds (rug vs. wood debate)* Breaking down in front of someone who is famous on the internet* Arguing with your ex-roommates boyfriend* Cognitive Dissonance https://linktr.ee/picturetimeoclock https://www.instagram.com/picturetimeoclock/ https://twitter.com/chairs44 https://www.davidsutrin.xyz/

Ben Stager Has a Picture of a Star Trek Slot Machine

On this very special 40th episode of the podcast, I sit down with Ben Stager. Ben is a comedian, writer, performer, and fellow podcaster — a viral social media prodigy captivating audiences across every platform in existence. His dry wit and sharp humor has earned him a reputation as one of the city's most up-and-coming comedians. In fact, it is my personal opinion that Ben is funnier than any of the other comedians I've had on the podcast — No shade to them but, you know, that's just how I feel. Is that a problem? You can catch Ben at every comedy club in the city, every night of the week. He's not shy. I know this because I have seen him perform twice, and both times, I was thinking to myself, "I should DM this guy and ask him to be on the podcast." He says what he wants, which has earned him mad respect with the locals and with many OG comedians like Bill Burr and shit. He can sometimes be crazy, which is not good, but recently, he got that under control thanks to some wellness techniques he learned at a wellness retreat. He obsesses over comedy day and night and almost never takes breaks. However, when his body is on the verge of failure, he always takes a much needed break. It is in these "restful Ben moments," as he himself refers to them, where you can catch him in his living room, chilling. He sometimes goes grocery shopping, too, filling his cart with all of his favourite foods and provisions, such as milk and nuts. Something else about Ben is that he seemingly loves to take road trips. He makes frequent stops at OnRoute rest stations which interestingly, are all owned by a British asset management firm. I personally always found this information disconcerting, but during those long drives to let's say, Gatineau, I often choose to ignore the company ownership revelation due to my body needing a quick rest. I'm sure Ben and his posse feel the same way. Jake Has a Picture of a Blue Dot

Jake (or 0FJAKE) is a pseudonymous blogger, life coach, and fellow podcaster. His latest project, Base Colors, uses hex codes to enable users to mint any color and own it as a digital asset or NFT. Jake opens up about the inspiration for this project and what led him to get into the crypto space in the first place.  We go deep into the nitty-gritty of crypto, memecoins, and more in this episode. So, If that’s your jam, you’ll definitely want to tune in and keep it locked. I ask Jake about MOG coin, which is a coin I like. I also pitch Jake my NFT project idea about how everyone should have an NFT of their own soul. How cool would that be? More on Jake now: we met on Twitter back in March or April. We've emailed a decent amount since then. I don't know much about him and no one really knows much about him actually because his real identity is a mystery, which I mentioned at the top. I thought Jake was super chill and easy to talk to, I liked how confident he is in his statements. That's always a good trait. What I attempted in talking to him was to peel back some of the mysterious "Jake layers" as I like to refer to them in my head, and slowly uncover the fruit, so to speak, within.  Topics discussed: - Minimal viable coffee brewing - Our favourite colours - What is colour anyway? - is the yellow you see the same– - Warpcast - Klein Blue - Building an army of bots - The secret about AirPods - Wallets - Running it back - Simply existing - Lifting heavy objects - Scraping data https://linktr.ee/picturetimeoclock https://www.instagram.com/picturetimeoclock/ https://twitter.com/chairs44

Ana Konda Has a Picture of a Menacing Individual

Ana Konda is a Macedonian born musician based in Toronto. She’s an odd jobs-woman, a daughter and a friend, currently 27 years old. Her no-f*cks-given attitude has earned her a reputation as someone to not f*ck with. Raised in the Balkan organized crime underbelly known as East York, she is no stranger to salacious scandals and disturbed individuals. The dimly lit alleys and dubious characters make for an atmosphere so deeply unsettling, Kafka-esque, and Lynchian, that even huge dudes feel unsafe. For Ana, though, it's no big deal. She's never felt fear. I asked her if she knew what fear meant and she said she'd never heard that word before. Her upcoming solo EP, Trauma Porn, is a coming-of-age narrative-based exploration of sexuality and violence in early womanhood. Her sound, which is unique as hell, weaves together Euro-style beats, intricate guitar riffs, and deeply personal lyrics. The EP will be dropping this summer but if you listen to this episode, you can hear a sneak preview (which is exclusive, by the way.) When she's not making music or strolling through the east end, Ana is likely hanging with her fabulous group of girlfriends who text regularly in an iMessage group chat. They like to share and describe their dreams with one another and hardcore analyze them. The dreams that these gals are having at night are extremely vivid, much more so than my dreams or yours. Like, super vivid...
