    A Prayer of Parents for Their Children

    Almighty God, You have called us to the holy state of Matrimony and have shared with us  Your gift of creation. We thank You for making our love fruitful. May we be worthy representatives of You, dear Lord, in forming our children in Your knowledge and love. You have given us children, Almighty God, to teach in Your ways which will lead to their  eternal home of heaven. May our children ever  walk in the ways of Your commandments and live according to the teachings of Your holy Catholic Church. May our example, dear God, be such as to inspire our children to grow into the likeness of Your Son, Jesus Christ. May we  be firm but kind in discipline. May we stand as one united in authority so as to be consistent. May we never confuse permissiveness with love. May we teach our children respect for Your authority in ourselves and in all Your representatives upon earth. May our home be as a Church, for You, Lord  Jesus Christ, are present wherever two or three are gathered together in Your name. May praises of God frequently rise from the lips and hearts of our family and may we all one  day be united in our eternal home. Amen. Thank you for your support. God bless you.     Hail and blessed be the hour and moment in which the Son of God was born Of the most pure Virgin Mary, at midnight, in Bethlehem, in the piercing cold. In that hour vouchsafe, I beseech Thee, O my God, to hear my prayer and grant my desires through the merits of Our Savior Jesus Christ, and of His blessed Mother.     Immaculate Virgin of the Miraculous Medal, you who decided to appear in front of Saint Catherine Labouré , today I ask you to manifest yourself in my life to attend to this prayer that I dedicate to you today, and that so much needs your help. As you once said, you fill with blessings those who pray to you with their hearts , therefore, today I turn to you to let you know everything that overwhelms or worries me. In your hands I place this, my most special request: (at this point you must make your request clearly). I raise these words confessing my most faithful devotion to the Miraculous Medal and, especially, to you who are a being of light that radiates trust and mercy, so that you have mercy on me at this time and can grant me the grace that I have come to share with you today.     Prayer to Christ Our King

    Lord Jesus Christ, You are King of the whole world. All that was made was created for You. Exercise Your sovereign rights over me. I renew my baptismal vows, renouncing satan with all his works and his false glamour, and I promise to live as a good Christian. In particular, I pledge myself to do all in my power to make the rights of God and of Your Church triumph in the world. Divine Heart of Jesus, I offer You whatever I do, however feeble, to obtain that all human hearts may admit Your  sacred Kingship, so that the Kingdom of Your peace will be established  throughout the world.     O Holy Spirit of God, take me as Thy disciple,; guide me, illuminate me,  sanctify me. Bind my hands, that they  may do no evil; cover my eyes that  they may see it no more; sanctify my heart, that evil may not dwell within me. Be Thou my God; be Thou my guide. Whithersoever Thou leadest me, I will go; whatsoever Thou forbiddest me,  I will renounce; and whatsoever Thou commandest me,  in Thy strength I will do.     The Chaplet of the Holy Face of Jesus

    On the Cross pray, "O God, come to my assistance; O Lord, make haste to help me," followed by the Glory Be. On each large bead pray, "My Jesus Mercy!" Followed by one Glory Be. On each small bead pray,  "Arise, O Lord, and let Thy enemies be scattered, and let all that hate Thee flee from before Thy face." On the Holy Face Medal say, "God, our Protector, look on us, and cast Thine Eyes upon the Face of Thy Christ." Amen. Thank you for your support. God bless you.     Prayer Before a Crucifix

    Look down upon me, good and gentle Jesus, while before Your face I humbly kneel and, with burning soul, pray and beseech You to  fix deep in my heart lively sentiments of faith, hope and charity; true contrition for my sins, and a firm purpose of amendment. While I contemplate, with great love and tender pity, Your five most precious wounds, pondering over them within me and calling  to mind the words which David, Your prophet, said of You, my Jesus: "They have pierced My hands and My feet,  they have numbered all My bones."     Heavenly Father, I thank You for My father and mother, and for our home. Bless us all, and help us to love You; And in love to serve one another as Jesus Taught us to do. Give me strength to do What is right today, and to do unto others  As I would want to do unto me.Amen. I thank You, Lord, for. my father. Grant me to realize the depth of his love for me So often left unspoken, And to appreciate his great and continuous  Sacrifices. His fatherly care reflects Your divine care; His strength, Your power; His understanding, Your wisdom He is Your faithful servant and image.
