I mean, let's be honest about this. I'm the fan that says things like "actually, it was season 2, episode 4 where you talked about that thing" on Twitter. Here's the thing though: this is a great show. If you've never seen the shows they're watching, then it's a great introduction to the series! If you *have* seen the show, then the perspectives they bring often give a great new view of the show that can encourage a rewatch. The hosts themselves, both talented musicians, also have great chemistry together, and have fantastic views on the subject matter, often bringing a queer reading of otherwise unchallenged subjects. Listening to two funny, talented people talk about stuff they like, love, and sometimes abhor is a great way to spend your time! Do it, you won't regret it.

These are frank, often fun, discussions about a variety of different television shows. They discuss the positive and negative aspects of the various shows they've watched. With intelligent insight into what made these shows good (or bad). The causal nature of the hosts draw you in as if you're sitting in their living room discussing the shows. The episodes are long--over an hour--allowing the hosts to give enough detail for you to make your own decision as to whether these shows should be in your queue.

These two have a great premise and they execute it well. Good on-mic chemistry. I just discovered this podcast and have listened to two already. I’ll be listening to all of them and waiting for more pilot-wisdom from them!
