Matt is an excellent interviewer. I think the Andrew Klavan episodes are great example of his skills: he is empathetic, fun, humble, knows how to respectfully ask touchy questions, willing to speak with people his audience doesn’t want him to. My one criticism since the DW merge: they won’t let his interviews go as long as they used to. One interview in particular, he said something like, “They need us to wrap up.” Like, what??? “They”?? There wasn’t a “they” before—Matt, his guest, and Thursday would just plough on for five hours. Now some “they” is saying “2.5 hours MAX.” Come onnnn—Matt’s an endurance podcaster. We, his audience, are endurance listeners. We want to know what kind of dental floss Bertrand Russell prefers. If the interviews aren’t going long enough to reach that point, then they’re just too short.

I’ve started from the beginning and am on about the 18th episode. I was intrigued and challenged to look up Summa Theologica to purchase on Kindle. For the grand price of $0.51, I purchased the complete Summa of 7267 pages (🫪). I believe that’s longer than my bible!! One thing is certain, if making your brain work prevents dementia, I may not have to worry about becoming (more) demented 😂

Matt got a long way before you become a podcaster. This was a deplorable episode. You laughing all the way through at videos we can’t see. Seriously? Get with your Daily Wire folks to make this a better podcast. Learn how to avoid these misteps. 🙏

I’m a fellow covert, single, and my vocation has been recently caring for my elderly parents. Though, I deal with chronic pain, depression, and no support. I’m an only child, and my trauma was with my earthly father. My parents are 40 years older than me, and never received affection or affirmation. I gave up my virginity early in life. When I came to the ONE TRUE Faith, I confessed all of my sins. Coming into the church wasn’t a great experience either. There were professors that were married and of the faith, but the community college opened a class on the paranormal and supernatural, and we did investigations, (confessed that too,) because after it was done and over with I started to have night terrors. Anyways, I’ve been single for a long time, and my diocese doesn’t offer anything for singles. Tried the “young adults,” but I was past the stage of graduating, etc., and my responsibilities are a lot different. I’m stuck right now, and asked around for spiritual guidance in the past; and no help was available. Either the spiritual directors took too many people on. Even asked my parish priests about it. I’m not attending Mass. I’ve listened to different podcasts on what to do about my situation I’m currently facing, and nothing is working, because there is not an episode about singles. Could really use a Catholic friend right now, because I don’t have any friends at all. There’s more to my issue, but it’s too personal to speak on this review. I’ve read many books on our faith, different saint books, and your podcast as well. There is NOTHING out there for single Catholic women, and gentlemen too. PLEASE HELP ME. I love your family Matt!
