Periods, Cycles, Oh my!: How Cycle Syncing Helps my ADHD -Ep. 17

Did you know that society is built around a man's 24 hour cycle?! Yup, that's why you have been having a hard time, Flowmie! Many women struggle with keeping up with society's expectations because the system is built around men! We're expected to perform and operate the same way throughout the month, when in reality, our bodies weren't created to do perform like a man's. In this episode, we discuss the concept of cycle syncing and its relationship with ADHD. We explore how understanding the menstrual cycle can help navigate neurodivergence, improve productivity, and maintain balance. We also cover the four phases of the menstrual cycle—menstrual, follicular, ovulatory, and luteal phases—and how each phase affects energy levels, motivation, and ADHD symptoms. Lastly, we learn some practical tips for aligning productivity with these phases. This episodes Rocking Chair Wisdom: Women work on a 28 day-ish cycle compared to the world and men who work on a 24 HOUR cycle. 5. Ep. 13: Are You Praying Right?: Stop Blocking Your Blessings!

Ep. 13: Are You Praying Right?: Stop Blocking Your Blessings!

Have you ever wondered "Am I praying right?" At 30 something, there are plenty of us who are mourning the lives that we thought we would have, and are confused about how to move forward. We question ourselves. Our self-esteem take hits and we feel lost without direction. In this episode of Living In Alignment we get real about prayer! This may be different from how Big Momma taught you, but stay with me now! We explore how learning to pray, not just with words but with intention and openness, helps peel back the layers of who we think we are—the societal masks, the fear-driven identities, and the expectations we place on ourselves--to remember who Spirit created us to be. By connecting with our higher selves and the Divine through prayer, we reveal our authentic core, allowing us to step into alignment with our purpose and live a life that reflects our truest essence. When we hold on to false identities or live out of alignment, however, we create obstacles that keep us from receiving the abundance meant for us. Tune in as we discuss how deepening your prayer practice can help you release what's no longer serving you, align with your higher self, and open the door to the blessings you've been unknowingly pushing away.
