Practical Expertise

Julie does an amazing job at speaking to both the challenges and advantages of diversity in the workplace. For a white, male business owner like myself, diversity is a word that is often intimidating. I want to be a great owner, want to grow my business, but also want to ensure it’s inclusive. Julie provided excellent advice for business owners like myself - making me feel comfortable. In fact, I adopted the term “ally” after being educated on my views by Julie. I’m thankful we have people like Julie in the industry to help us navigate these challenges.
