Wow, the energy is shifting! Lots happening this year! In 2026, we are entering another new nine-year cycle. It’s also the beginning of our next one-thousand-year cycle. This new cycle will be encouraging you to Awaken Your Destiny. That means you were born to do your very best, to live your purposeful life as you live your regular, creative, responsible life. According to ancient Greek philosophy, the concepts of destiny and fate have existed since the Hellenistic period (323 B.C.E. -31 B.C.E.), with groups such as the Stoics and the Epicureans. The Stoics believed that human decisions and actions ultimately followed a divine plan devised by a god. They claimed that although humans theoretically have free will, their souls and the circumstances under which they live are all part of the universal network of fate. Your Destiny can be discovered in several ways, such as meditating, journaling, astrology, and the akashic records, to name a few. I like to use the Pythagorean method of numerology. Your Destiny can be a bit elusive; most of us start to get a hint of what this means in our late 30s and early 40s. I believe your Destiny is your purposeful path in life. Often, if you are awake and aware, your career path can develop into your Destiny. If that’s not how it evolves organically, then the Universe has several clever ways to awaken you when it’s your time. Numerology outlines that our awakening periods will happen sometime between the ages of 42-46, if not, then for sure between the ages of 52-56. Society refers to these periods as midlife crises. The breakdown of your old systems requires you to let go of anything that is disempowering. This makes way for the rebirth of a new, more authentic self. Metaphysics tells us we are moving into the 4th dimension of consciousness to become much smarter and more aware of our purposeful life. Rather than viewing 2026 as a single event, I encourage you to see it as a catalyst for sustained, intentional transformation. View this as a time for you to elevate your dreams into practical, achievable goals. Use the energy of 2026 as a starting point to become the best version of yourself.
