I gave you 4 stars for Scott, but shame on Kara for dismissing the link between college campus protests and antisemitic violence. You are so dangerously wrong.

It seems like Kara is hearing about most of these topics for the first time in the moment they are being discussed and forming a snap judgement with an absolute opinion. So much generalized commentary “these people,” “this stuff,” rarely anything concrete to add. Holier than thou woke about buzzy things but the turns around the next second to be just as judgemental without any humility or acknowledgement.

This used to be one of my favorite podcasts. Is it just me, or does Scott now leave you with the ick? Once the ick happened, I can't escape it and listening to Scott now is a complete turn off.

I’m a longtime listener and I like both hosts, but Scott’s myopic understanding of prejudice needs to be addressed. On the last episode, he spoke about prejudice as if it only applies to Jewish people. I was waiting for Kara to chime in, but throughout history, Black, Brown, LGBTQIA+, Indigenous, impoverished, people with disabilities and many other groups have been maliciously attacked and singled out—often with the goal of eradication by opposing groups. It is disrespectful and offensive to suggest that only one group has sustained this type of assault throughout history. Given your level of education and access to information, there is no justification for maintaining such a narrow and historically inaccurate understanding of prejudice.
