    What happens when you find your way back to Jesus, experience the joy of His grace, but still struggle to trust the path He has for your life? In this episode, Claire Green shares a story that mirrors the parable of the prodigal son. Growing up in a Christian home, Claire knew about Jesus, but during her teenage years, she began walking away from her faith and chasing a life that left God out of the picture. It wasn't until her senior year of high school, at a youth conference, that she experienced a radical encounter with Jesus and made the decision to fully surrender her life to Him. Like the prodigal son, she returned to the Father and experienced the joy of being welcomed home. But what happens after you come home? As Claire began navigating life with a renewed faith, she found herself comparing her journey to those around her. When her friends felt called into ministry, missions, and Christian college, she questioned why her path looked different. After not being accepted into Highlands College, she wrestled with comparison, guilt, and whether her past was too dark for God to redeem. Together, we talk about the Father's grace, the beauty of redemption, the danger of comparison, and learning that following Jesus doesn't mean following everyone else's path.     Our Birth Story: Letting Go of Our Plan

    Before Blakely was born, I had envisioned a very different birth experience. But as pregnancy progressed, I had to surrender my hopes for a vaginal birth and prepare for a C-section. In Part 1 of our birth story, my husband and I take you through the days leading up to our daughter's birth, why a C-section became necessary, and what it was like walking into the hospital knowing things weren't going according to the plan we had imagined. We share the emotional experience of meeting our daughter for the first time, what our hospital stay was really like, and the unexpected challenge of postpartum preeclampsia. It's an honest conversation about birth, surrender, unexpected circumstances, and learning that God's plan can still be good even when it looks completely different from ours.
