This podcast purports to speak to Christian values and a “return to the land” in order to convince Christians that loving and accepting people is not a Christian value. Rather, and in direct opposition to Jesus’ teachings, they‘ve decided to be the purveyors of judgment, deciding for themselveswhat Jesus will or will not judge as holy. Ironically, they ignore Jesus’ actual words in the Bible. They are disingenuous and false prophets of Jesus aiming to control and convince an unsuspecting populace that we are to judge and condemn our neighbors and neighboring countries. While Jesus actual words that above all else, we are to love.

There are episodes where I’m amazed that people can say so much without really saying anything. Boring and out of touch with the intellectually-curious working man, but that does not seem to be the target audience. What is your target audience? I’m assuming pastors and academics?

The breadth and depth of Aaron’s knowledge of American religious history from a sociological perspective never ceases to amaze me. Great episode.
