Nourishment Beyond Food: Clean Living and Entrepreneurship with Tina Smagala Podcast Show Notes Nutrition is often defined as the process of consuming, absorbing, and utilizing nutrients from food to fuel, repair, and maintain the body for health and growth. That definition matters. What we eat influences our energy, our hormones, our longevity, and our ability to show up fully in our lives. But at Plant Powered Collective, we often explore a broader idea. Nutrition does not only happen on the plate. It also happens around the plate. Connection, creativity, environment, and the experiences we share with others all nourish our mind, emotions, and spirit. In this episode, Lori sits down with Tina Smagala, owner of Sea Love Candle Bar and Boutique located at Coconut Point in Estero, Florida. Sea Love is known for its scent blending bar where guests can create and pour their own custom scented candles using clean ingredients. What Tina has created goes far beyond a retail store. It is a space where people gather, create, laugh, and make memories together. This conversation explores how clean products, community connection, and creative experiences can nourish us in ways we often overlook. Lori also reflects on how conversations like this nourish her own soul, mind, emotions, and intellect. Meeting people who are building meaningful businesses and sharing their journeys is one of the most rewarding parts of hosting the podcast. In This Episode We Discuss • Why nutrition extends beyond food• The power of clean home products and non toxic living• How scent influences mood, memory, and wellbeing• Tina’s journey from corporate career to entrepreneur• The importance of surrounding yourself with supporters when starting a business• Why creative experiences strengthen connection and community• How shared experiences create meaningful memories About Today’s Guest Tina Smagala is the owner of Sea Love Candle Bar and Boutique, a coastal inspired gift boutique located at Coconut Point in Estero, Florida. Her message for aspiring entrepreneurs is simple and powerful: It is never too late to pursue your dreams. Careers have many chapters, and each one prepares you for the next.
