Plastic Byzantium

It is clear listening to Kevin and Ben that they have been seeking and contemplating the great spiritual traditions, earnestly, for a long time. They ruminate on the wisdom of those traditions as it applies to their real lives today, as husbands and fathers and business owners and friends. Kevin and Ben have great chemistry in often knowing where each other’s thoughts and feelings are leading on a given topic. They also have the necessary trust and respect to object when they don’t agree on a point and to ask questions when they want to understand better what the other is saying. They don’t take themselves too seriously and allow humor to permeate the air as they wax philosophic.

These episodes make me want a word burning stove a free morning and a cup of chai. Or bourbon.
