You might be surprised, because we usually think of FAT as something to get rid of! Well, fat can be like Liquid Gold when it’s moved from one place in the body to another, improving contour and sometimes transforming the overlying skin quality, too. This may be called fat transfer, or fat grafting, or fat injections. But, which is better -- fat or filler?
We delve into the engaging subject of repurposing fat with Dr. Alexes Hazen in New York. Download the episode now to be in the know!

Trusted Information

I know Dr. Regina Nouhan, so I was happy to find her podcast for reliable information. I had breast augmentation surgery in 2004. For the past year, I’ve had a cluster of unexplainable symptoms: debilitating fatigue, lightheadedness, tinnitus, and hair shedding. I have seen multiple specialists to rule things out, e.g. endocrinologist, OBGYN, ENT, Vestibular specialist, and neurologist. I’ve had a full thyroid work up, blood work to check every vitamin and hormone that might cause fatigue, and a chest X-ray and EKG. Everything has been normal. So, I suspected I had breast implant illness. I had a consult with a plastic surgeon at the end of 2022 and was prepared to have breast explantation at the end of 2023 or early 2024. However, my symptoms have gotten better (less frequent and severe.) I suspect it was long Covid. I listened to every podcast Dr. Nouhan has done on breast implants. It was this latest one that convinced me to hold off on removing my implants. Thank you for providing this much needed information!!
