In the movie “Cheaper By The Dozens” a character by the name Bill Shenk, played by Alan Ruck, is the husband of Tina Shenk and also the father of Dylan Shenk. He is far kinder and nicer than Tina and actually likes the Bakers. He hates Tina being rude to the Bakers and being overprotective of Dylan. But he won’t dare speak up. The only thing Bill hates more than anything is ruffling Tina’s feathers. Though you may think you’re doing the right thing by keeping the peace to keep your wife happy, you’re probably doing way more damage than you realize.
