You may be like me and assume that revealing the end of a movie or giving away key plot information in a trailer would have a negative impact on a film’s box office. It’s easy to assume that spoilers would discourage potential viewers. We assume that the public would collectively no longer want to see a movie if we knew the ending or essential elements in advance.
