Welcome to Hampton county South Carolina, home of the Watermelon Festival. Tune in to our first ever out of state recorded interview with our cousin Traci. She was the first person to reach out to us after we started the podcast and we have been wanting to interview her for an episode ever since. Also this trip marks Toni's first ever family visit to South Carolina OUT of the cult! She got to enjoy a visit with our grandaddy, aunts , uncles and cousins without the looming weight of guilt and fear for the first time in over a decade.
I'm calling this one my masterpiece you guys. You don't have to agree because Art is subjective but we hope you enjoy it.
Thank you Traci for sharing your story with us and for being a great cousin and friend.
We love and miss all of our family in South Carolina and mourn the loss of childhood and youth a little more with each visit. Here's to trapping every detail we can for later.

Therapy for former cult members
I absolutely fell in love with this podcast after I left the WMSCOG. I was very depressed and lost at the time, however, these podcasts really set my head straight and allowed me to realize that I wasn’t the only one feeling traumatized or mentally breaking down. The stories of former members are so relatable and gave me many laughs, tears, and realizations. Love you Toni and Lindsey! You guys making these podcasts have helped me plenty and will help so many who come out in the future 🥰💪
