Playing Privileges

It’s incredibly ironic that Golf.com cancelled the Destination Golf podcast in lieu of a podcast focused on high-end luxury golf, because that reflects the unfortunate trend happening in the sport today. While I like the hosts of Playing Privileges, listening to it brings me nothing more than fantasies of playing exclusive courses, which will never come to fruition. Destination Golf had tangible takeaways and meaningful discussions across golf topics. Instead, Golf.com finds it more important to talk about logos on towels and which private club has better locker rooms. Good luck with this pod, it’s no longer on my rotation; but maybe that was the intent, to weed out the common-man golfer.
