Book It!

I never realized how much I would enjoy listening to other people talk about books and reading. I’m not one for book clubs because I hate being told what to read, but this podcast makes me want to join one or start my own. The hosts are informed without being pretentious and they make you feel better for maybe not being the fastest reader or possibly having one too many books in your “too be read” pile. Thank you for letting me eaves drop on your great conversations and for your helpful suggestions when it comes to the sometimes overwhelming choice of what to read next.

I found this podcast thru #bookstagram & am so happy I did! As an avid reader, I enjoy listening to a podcast that talks about books but also about things that are book related and such. What stands out about this podcast is that the hosts are friends and their rapport is so genuine. As well, they’re HONEST! They don’t always agree or push what’s “trendy”. As a self-proclaimed podcast hater, I LOVE this podcast. It’s the only one I listen to on a regular basis because Jill and Michael are hilarious and I love hearing their book insights! Their first season introduced me to some of my favorite books of 2020 and I can’t wait for more.
