Still I will not curse her name

Still I will not curse her name So many days I wrote of hopes and dreams, only to learn itwas all just a charade Upside down where nothings as it seems, until I’m cold Iwill regret everything I paid Were it only money siphoned across our time, one day bygrace of God I could recoup Inside my mind is the scene of the crime, and it plays adnauseum on an endless loop Still I will not curse her name, nor speak it again lest shegain fame, this ends the game I’m editing my mind, rewinding the past and carefully clippingyou out frame by frame Still I will not curse her name Unlike you I will not tell a lie while I grin, I cherishthose memories I’ve yet to make With my grandkids I would not tell a sin, your past regressionsdemand a heavy stake You have made an indelible stain on your soul, whilecrushing the heart that gave you aid For a short term gain you destroyed your goal, on judgementday you’ll atone for the bed you made Still I will not curse her name, nor speak it again lest shegain fame, this ends the game I’m editing my mind, rewinding the past and carefully clippingyou out frame by frame Still I will not curse her name One day my time here will surely close, those coming behindme will read my writing If there’s a lesson to find it’s that I chose, turn theother cheek, it’s not the time for fighting Matters of the heart that flow in one direction, withcunning and deceit lurking in tow Differ little from any other bodily infection, love doesn’tlive where honesty doesn’t go Still I will not curse her name Too much time was spent as it is, money too; time is too preciousto waste on the undeserving Life continues and that chapter is through, just another oneof the pitfalls that keep you swerving Dodge the ones you can, ride out the rest; hope for a happyending that you can share Sort your memories and hang on to the best, keep on hopingfor someone who will care Still I will not curse her name Let it wither Tim Windisch 4 29 2026

    Evil from top to bottom

Evil from top to bottom It was nothing real, a grand scheme from the start All you have left for your troubles is a broken heart Call it what you will but no matter what, it is sad Everything you believed was true but you were just had Cry the blues and scream and throw things and swear It won’t change a thing and it sure won’t make her care Evil from top to bottom straight through Smile as you twist the knife saying I love you Excuses and lies and anything that helped your cause Fell into the trap and never gave your words pause Believing in your promises, your love seemed so sincere Now I know that they were only meant to keep you here In my heart so I would never stop caring And oh how you loved the bank book you were sharing Evil from top to bottom straight through Smile as you twist the knife saying I love you Sad lies are all you bathe in and then use as your perfume Open all my windows, hit the fan get the stench out of myroom Cleanse me from the filth of the your sick obsession Which given all you stole is just a tax-free profession Drain me like the dirty bath water from your every sin Need a scorecard to tally up who you’ve had in Evil from top to bottom straight through Smile as you twist the knife saying I love you Enjoy your days, but never try to remember What was once there you torched to an ember Live your lies, mourn your loss, slide on to your next prey You chose the path so go prosper in your own sick way My love is real, my heart is strong, my life’s not done I’ll heal and smile again, you keep telling yourself you won Tim Windisch 4 23 2026
