Great for what it is

I have been listening for a few months now and appreciate the perspective this show provides. Another reviewer pointed out political bias in the hosts, and as somebody who disagrees with their interpretation of Bernie Sanders responses during the September debate, I would second the notion that their personal political preferences seep into the discussion. However, this is not something I feel they’ve pretended was absent in the first place. They discuss the substance and style of political shows . . . some bias is unavoidable, especially if Dana Parino is hosting FNS.
Come to listen with that in mind and you will benefit from their perspective.

Smart

I enjoy this podcast for its very smart take on the Sunday morning shows. Now I listen to the shows with a more fine-tuned ear. I am thinking more about the questions, the follow ups, the content and the analysis. This show helps us take a critical look at how the media is being produced, and not just being a passive recipient of the weekly firehose of content.

I like their weekly assignments. My only suggestion is to consider bringing in a guest from time to time to do the analysis with them. A fresh voice or perspective now and then would be a great addition.

Thoughtful analysis of Sunday News Shows

Great podcast, particularly if you are a Sunday news show junkie. You have to put aside your own political biases to enjoy it. It's not about the right or wrong on a particular issue, but rather the quality of the questioning and commentary. I think this is particularly true of the guest interviews. Are the hosts challenging them with questions that will generate real insight or or just allowing them a platform to spew their partisan talking points? I hope that the producers of these shows listen to this podcast and that it inspires them to improve their product.
