Poly 143 – John 3 (PolyPat 41)
Our series on the Gospel of John continues with Pat and Eric discussing chapter 3. We cover Baptism, believing in Christ, obeying Christ, and why our current culture hates the Light.
Poly 142 – Euchoetry I
Thus we begin our series on Euchoetry (Eucharistic Poetry - Poems in the Presence of God).
Two weeks ago I announced the launch of euchoetry.com and shared a few of my poems with you. Today I will share more poems to launch a series about Euchoetry. If you would like to see the poems, I will eventually release them on the website:
Today's featured poems: "Bread of Angels," "Hidden yet Here," "God, Who Now Appears," and "Powerful Fragility."
Poly 141 – John 2 (PolyPat 40)
The Gospel of John is rich with meaning. Pat and Eric go deep in uncovering some of the hidden gems chapter by chapter of the Gospel of John. May the Spirit enlighten us all to know God and Jesus Christ whom he has sent.
In chapter 2 we uncover Mary's role as an intercessor at the wedding feast at Cana and Jesus performs his first sign turning water into wine. Then he cleanses the temple with dramatic and prophetic intention.
Poly 140 – John 1
"In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God" (John 1:1).
I'm launching a brand new series on the Gospel of John with Pat Flynn, but we each recorded the first chapter separately. Stay tuned for future episodes of PolyPat where we will go chapter by chapter through the Gospel and give our reflections.
Poly 139 – Reflections on St. Joseph Consecration (PolyPat 39)
Pat and Eric have consecrated themselves to St. Joseph. In this episode we talk about that experience and give highlights from Fr. Don Calloway's book, "Consecration to St. Joseph."

Poly 138 – Launching euchoetry.com
Euchoetry.com is officially launched! What is Euchoetry?
Euchoetry is an invitation to encounter God, a movement of beauty, and a new form of writing.
Euchoetry is derived from two words: Eucharist and poetry.
If our Lord inspires you to write a poem in his presence, then this is a place where you can share that beautiful exchange of love with the world. Poems in the presence of God. This is Euchoetry.
