    In this episode, we take a few minutes to bring to our minds what scripture says about joy. We hold space to ponder joy - both related to earthly circumstances and eternal ones.  Joy we find easily and joy we find ourselves hoping for, waiting for - looking ahead to. What does joy look like in sorrow, in grief, in loss? What does joy look like in the midst of the little, everyday things? What does God's joy look like? Together, we ponder. In Hebrews 12, we see the kind of joy Jesus looked ahead to: "...for the joy set before him he endured the cross..."  "Because of the joy awaiting him, he endured the cross..."
