Gareth and Andy are, in these eyes, the most insightful (and least cynical) movie podcasters on the interwebs today. Always ready to dive deep into the history of the films they cover, always ready to offer their objectively subjective opinions, G&A are funny and smart and they never fail to kickstart my brain, which is increasingly tough to do these days. Popcorn Digest is also the podcast that inspired me to create my own personal podcast, so let them be an inspiration to you, too!

Just checked out the show and I’m loving it. I’m now going through the past episodes. Definitely give it a listen!

I have only been following it for a few months now but I am sold on it. It isn't a big production or riveting conversation, but not everything has to be sensational to be good. The two hosts are grounded and learned on the topic. The present, mostly, fair and informed judgments on films and explain in great detail why they feel the way they do. They are pleasant to listen to and I learn a great deal about all aspects of a film by listening to it. That isn't to say they are overly serious and stuffy though, be ready for plenty of jokes and many a penis joke. I get to share in their experience while expanding my own. This is one of my go-to podcasts while I deliver mail. I typically listen through other directories but I know this is the one where reviews matter. I look forward to more episodes and I hope they don't smash Titan AE to pieces as it is a favorite from my childhood.
