    Dating as a Christian

    In this podcast, we discuss the frustrations, internal struggles, and stereotypes that come along with dating as a Christian. This is a very real and delicate topic that thrives in our daily conversations with our friends and family. It is also something that we worry about on a daily basis. As always we are just sharing our opinion and not giving any kind of advice. This podcast does a great job of seeing our friendship dynamic and our worldview. There are a lot of facets that go along with this topic that we never got a chance to get to so there will definitely be a part two to this topic.     Altar Calls

    In this podcast, we decided to tackle the heavy and controversal topic of altar calls. The text book definition of an “ Altar Call” is a tradition in some Christian churches in which those who wish to make a new spiritual commitment to Jesus Christ are invited to come forward publicly. Normally the “ new spiritual commitment” is about baptism. We share our opinion on altar calls, discuss personal experiences and briefly critique the christian faith.     Its Popcorn Night! : Friendship, Disobedience, Angels and Demons, and Fairness

    In this podcast, we decided to just stick to one topic but “POP” around with different topics. We had a list of 10 different topics we could talk about and used a random number generator to decide what specific topic we would handle. We only ended up covering four topics:  Friendship, Disobedience, Angels and Demons, and Fairness. We took time to think of each word and talked about what first comes to mind when we hear this word. Through talking about our personal experiences and journey with God we discussed the possible reasons people could feel that way and why we may or may not feel differently. Patriarchs and Prophets, a book by Ellen G White, is the book mentioned by Darcie in this podcast.
