In the book Dr Chris discusses how we have entered a new 'age of eating' where most of our calories come from an entirely novel set of substances called Ultra-Processed Food, food which is industrially processed and designed and marketed to be addictive. But do we really know what it's doing to our bodies?
Dr Chris van Tulleken is an infectious disease doctor at University College London Hospitals, and a Medical Research Council clinical research fellow at University College London in the Greg Towers lab, where he studies viral evolution and HIV. He has worked with aid organisations around the world over the past 10 years, including Doctors of the World. What makes the show a true standout is the quality of the guests and the inspiring stories in every episode. Adrienne finds speakers that truly care about helping people become their best selves.
