This game is a fun listen, the party has a good dynamic and the GM sets the stage nicely. Not sure why Captain Rules over there criticizes the mechanics, for the most part he’s incorrect: 1) Critical Wounds happen immediately, before SLs are calculated 2) Wounding an opponent without engaging in an Opposed Test awards 1 Advantage (Outmanouvre) 3) This point is correct that the Opposed Test still happens, but because the Critical Wound occurs prior to the test the Crit can’t be avoided

This group of friends OBVIOUSLY have a good time together. Makes me wish I could play too!!

After 6 episodes I was hoping the group would have basic combat mechanics down but during the 7th episode I found myself constantly saying, “No. Nope. Huh-uh. What?” 1) The first thing that happens after a critical hit is regular damage is calculated and applied to the hit location. THEN you roll for the critical location and finally roll for the critical result. 2) Ranged attacks do not generate Advantage. (Player with blunderbuss). 3) GM stated at one point, when he rolled an attack for an NPC, “He got a crit so it doesn’t matter what you roll [to the player]. Wrong. If the player wins the opposed roll then the attack does not land. There is no crit because the attack was blocked, parried or dodged. I could go on, but I think I made my point.
