The PR Army in Ukraine with Julia Petryk
For more than eight years, Julia Petryk has headed up PR for MacPaw, a Kyiv-based company known for publishing apps that clean and speed up Mac computers. For many in our profession, it would be a dream job, in a dream city.
Then came the Russians.
Within the first hours of the Russian full-scale invasion of Ukraine, Petryk and others knew that they had a part to play in repelling invaders and marshaling the forces of Ukraine’s allies.
Petryk and others founded the initiative, PR Army as a response to the Russian violation of international agreements and its lawless invasion of Ukraine. PR and Comms experts got together to build a strong Ukrainian presence in the global arena and make Ukrainian voices vocal all over the world.

Laughing It Up with Cathy Nesbitt
Cathy Nesbitt discusses the benefits of laughter and how it can help reduce stress and create a more cohesive work environment. Nesbitt was appointed a laughter ambassador in 2017 and has since been doing team-building exercises with corporations. These exercises involve clapping, chanting, playing, and laughing to increase creativity, reduce stress, and break down barriers. Laughter yoga was created in 1995 and involves 40 foundational exercises to help people be childlike and have fun.
Nesbitt is the founder of Cathy’s Crawly Composters (est 2002), Cathy’s Sprouters, and Cathy’s Laughter Club. She is a multi-award-winning environmental innovator who uses workshops and inspirational speaking to motivate people to live a more sustainable life. Nesbitt is a certified Laughter Yoga Teacher. Appointed Laughter Ambassador in 2017 by Dr. Madan Kataria, founder of Laughter Yoga.
