Self-sufficiency

Really enjoyed this discussion, especially the honesty about learning from your mistakes and, while you have to do a lot to be self sufficient, to focus on learning to do one thing well at a time. We had those nasty raspberry bugs. Our solution was to put food grade diatomaceous earth all over the ground on a dry day in the spring than, when the plants were about 6 to 8 inches tall sprinkle them with the food grade diatomaceous earth. This season we were worm free! Just don’t use it once the bees arrive because it will harm the bees. Thanks for such a great podcast!

My favorite podcast!!

I’ve been listening for a couple months and I recommend this podcast all the time. This is someone with real topics, new ideas and FANTASTIC interviews! Im going to be negative for a second about other podcasts to help illustrate why I enjoy this so much (I’m sorry).. others I’ve heard on this genre sound like unresearched last minute ideas that come across like close minded personal opinions; this just isn’t that podcast! She doesn’t attack people who are at other places on their journey, it’s just positive, interesting and inspirational!!
Cannot recommend it enough!!!
