Fascinating podcast about culture and preservation
I’m not in this industry, but fell in love with this podcast after I found it searching for native Hawaiian rituals (#85 — excellent). People that really care about preservation — and know what they’re talking about — take you into all these different, fascinating worlds. It’s a really nice intellectual interlude during these trying times to think about our past and how people are caring for it. You get some jargon in here, but I sort of like getting a sense for the complexities of the various jobs, even if I don’t understand the specific techniques and technologies.
Impressive!
This podcast is stuffed with interesting, diverse, practical and useful information.
