Primordial Deep is science fiction action/thriller, set in the expanded universe of Janus Descending. When a long extinct sea creature washes up on the shores of Coney Island, marine biologist Dr. Marella Morgan is contacted by a secret organization to investigate the origins of the creature’s sudden and unnatural resurgence. Soon, she and a team of explorers find themselves living on the research station The Tiamat, traveling along the abyssal plains as they search for answers far below the waves. But there are dangers in these ancient waters. Reawakened prehistoric monsters are rising from the deep -- jaws wide and waiting, and in the darkness, something is stirring.

Love this podcast
What needs to happen so we can get episodes more frequently? The characters, the encounters, the immersion, and the acting are all leagues (pun intended) above other podcasts I’ve listened to in this genre.
I’d usually have given up on similar shows by now, but I love this podcast. My only complaint is that I have to wait almost a month for new installments.
The story? Phenomenal. The characters? Wonderful. The sound design? Breathtaking.
You NEED to check this show out. Very rarely do I find audio dramas with sound design as immersive as this one. It often feels like I'm there with the characters in the most terrifying ways. Mix that with the brilliant music? *Chef's kiss*. The characters all have such wonderful chemistry and their banter feels so genuine and fun. I would pay money to hang out with these nerds in their station. The story keeps you on your toes while also giving us some genuinely sweet moments between the characters. I may have cried a few times, not going to lie. This show is such a delight to listen to and it is absolutely one of my new favorites.
Characters
Hoping for more of the badly written and acted characters to be killed off. They are interfering with a good story.
