Make Pro Wrestling Majestic Again 236: AAA Noche de Los Grandes & AEW Double or Nothing Review — Huge Matches, Major Chaos!

On this absolutely tremendous episode of Make Pro Wrestling Majestic Again, we’re talking about two massive shows: AAA Noche de Los Grandes and AEW Double or Nothing 2026. Big stars, huge title changes, wild stipulations—folks, this is what wrestling is all about. First, we review AAA Noche de Los Grandes, where Rey Fénix captured the AAA World Cruiserweight Championship from Laredo Kid, El Hijo del Vikingo defeated El Hijo de Dr. Wagner Jr. for the AAA Latin American Championship, The War Raiders won the AAA World Tag Team Titles from Pagano and Psycho Clown, and El Grande Americano defeated “The Original” El Grande Americano in a No DQ máscara contra máscara match. Total insanity. Very dramatic. Then we break down AEW Double or Nothing 2026, featuring Cage and Cope beating FTR in a brutal “I Quit” New York Street Fight to win the AEW World Tag Team Titles, Konosuke Takeshita taking the International Title from Kazuchika Okada, Jon Moxley defeating Kyle O’Reilly, Will Ospreay beating Samoa Joe, Swerve Strickland advancing over Bandido, Athena defeating Mina Shirakawa, Thekla retaining the AEW Women’s World Title, a completely unhinged Stadium Stampede, and MJF defeating Darby Allin in a Title vs. Hair match to become AEW World Champion. Huge. We also cover a loaded week in wrestling news: the NWA apology after Odinson’s insensitive comments, criticism of TNA’s AMC era, the NJPW ownership shakeup with TV Asahi and CyberAgent, AEW programming leaving NJPW World in Japan, the reported Curtis Axel arrest after a Minnesota drive-thru incident, and Eric Bischoff throwing cold water on the rumored WWE nWo reboot story. 2. AEW Dynamite 5/27/26 Review: MJF Celebrates, Tag Division Revived, Women Ignored Again

AEW Dynamite 5/27/26 Review: MJF Celebrates, Tag Division Revived, Women Ignored Again

AEW Dynamite on 5/27/26 was a fun show overall, folks. Not a perfect show, not some all-time masterpiece, but a fun show with some fresh movement in a few divisions. The men’s tag division got a real jolt, the Owen Hart matches delivered, MJF got his big ego celebration, and Kevin Knight kicked things off trying to explain himself in a promo segment that did nobody any favors. Jericho beat Ricochet in a fun opener, Rush won a four-way that was basically just a bunch of moves, MJF celebrated becoming a three-time AEW World Champion before Mark Briscoe and Rush got involved, Brody King and Claudio beat each other up in a hard-hitting tournament match, and Cope & Cage finally got crashed into a new, fresh feud with The Dogs looking dangerous for once. That was smart booking. Very smart. The big negative? The women got almost nothing. One short TayJay squash and that’s basically it. No women’s Owen matches, barely any time, no real focus. That’s not good enough, especially on a show that had time for plenty of other stuff. Fun show, yes. Balanced show? Not even close. WWE NXT 5/26/26 Review: Kelani Rules, Lola Retains, Darkstate Talks & Speed Chaos!

WWE NXT on 5/26/26 was a very solid show, folks. Not a perfect show, not some all-time classic, but a very watchable developmental show with some strong ideas, a few good matches, and one very clear standout: Kelani Jordan looked tremendous. Brutal, mean, different — exactly what she needs to be. That finish over Wren Sinclair was excellent and it got over the way it was supposed to. You also had Darkstate trying to explain their internal mess, Sean Legacy and Dorian Van Dux wrestling to a time-limit draw in the Speed tournament, Jaida Parker picking up a win, Tony D’Angelo getting confronted by multiple challengers, Nathan Frazer and Romeo Moreno having a really fun tournament final, Shiloh Hill continuing whatever strange thing he’s doing, and Lola Vice retaining the NXT Women’s Championship in a good main event against Izzi Dame. In this review, I break down every match and every segment, what worked, what didn’t, and why NXT continues to get a little extra grace because it’s developmental — but still needs to tighten a few things up. Good show overall, and a lot to talk about. 4. WWE RAW 5/25/26 Review: Brock vs Oba, Roman & Fatu Again, and a Very Lame Show

WWE RAW 5/25/26 Review: Brock vs Oba, Roman & Fatu Again, and a Very Lame Show

WWE RAW on 5/25/26 had some big names, some big talking segments, and yet somehow the whole thing felt strangely flat. That’s the story, folks. You’ve got Brock Lesnar, Oba Femi, Roman Reigns, Jacob Fatu, LA Knight, Seth Rollins, Penta, Rey Mysterio — major names, tremendous names — and still the show never really felt important. That’s a problem. The best thing on the night was the Intercontinental Title match with Penta and Je’Von Evans. Fun, energetic, strong opener. After that, things got a lot shakier. The Brock/Oba explanation still feels weird, the LA Knight/Jimmy Uso segment felt shoehorned into the show, Montez Ford vs. Seth Rollins was only fine when it should have been better, and the Roman Reigns/Jacob Fatu contract signing was solid enough but it also felt like we’ve been circling the same story for weeks. In this review, I break down every match and every segment, what worked, what didn’t, and why this was one of those RAWs where the roster looked huge but the show itself felt small. Big names. Small impact. Not great. Make Pro Wrestling Majestic Again 235: WWE Saturday Night’s Main Event XLIV Review — Huge Matches, Total Chaos, and a Tremendous Week in Wrestling!

On this absolutely tremendous episode of Make Pro Wrestling Majestic Again, we review WWE Saturday Night’s Main Event XLIV—and let me tell you, folks, it was big, it was dramatic, and in some places, very questionable, frankly. We break down all the action, including Jade Cargill, Michin, and B-Fab scoring a major win over Rhea Ripley, Charlotte Flair, and Alexa Bliss, Sol Ruca defeating Becky Lynch by disqualification, Penta retaining the Intercontinental Championship against Ethan Page, Paige and Brie Bella holding onto the Women’s Tag Team Titles against Lash Legend and Nia Jax, and The Vision—that’s Logan Paul and Austin Theory—retaining over The Street Profits in the WWE World Tag Team Title Match. And that’s not all. We cover a loaded week in wrestling news: Mick Foley heading to AEW Double or Nothing, Zohran Mamdani getting invited to the show in Queens, major WWE names appearing at UFC Freedom 250 Fan Fest, Jordynne Grace training for her pilot’s license to help rescue animals—which is honestly very classy—plus WWE still moving ahead with Saudi Arabia plans, Ludwig Kaiser’s reported arrest, and the rumor of a possible Enzo & Big Cass reunion. We also talk WWE ID talents getting new names, Asuka’s update on her future, why some believe WWE will never truly care about tag team wrestling, WWE’s tribute to Kyle Busch, and Rey Mysterio becoming the new GM of AAA. A lot of winners, a lot of headlines, a lot of controversy. A huge show. You’re going to want to hear this one. 6. WWE SmackDown 5/22/26 Review: Trick vs Melo, Cody vs Sami, Rhea Chaos — BIG Show!

WWE SmackDown 5/22/26 Review: Trick vs Melo, Cody vs Sami, Rhea Chaos — BIG Show!

WWE SmackDown on 5/22/26 was a very strong show, folks. Big stars, big angles, big drama. Rhea Ripley kicked things off and immediately made it clear that Jade Cargill and her crew had made a major mistake. Then you had Charlotte Flair, Alexa Bliss, Fatal Influence, and later Jade and the Baddies creating absolute chaos in the women’s division. Tremendous mess, and I mean that in a good way. Talla Tonga beat Shinsuke Nakamura, Tiffany Stratton retained the Women’s U.S. Title in a match that did not exactly blow the doors off the place, Trick Williams and Carmelo Hayes reminded everybody they’ve got real chemistry in a great U.S. Title match, Damian Priest battled Solo Sikoa, and Cody Rhodes vs. Sami Zayn gave us a strong main event with Gunther lurking like a complete menace. In this review, I break down every match, every segment, what worked, what didn’t, and why this felt like a loaded SmackDown with multiple stories moving at once. Good wrestling, strong angles, major names — exactly what Friday nights should look like.
