    360 Profile: When They See Us

    Featuring Ava DuVernay, Cindy Holland, Jane Rosenthal, Jonathan King & Berry Welsh It was a shocking crime that made headlines from coast to coast — a jogger brutally raped in New York's Central Park in 1989. Five Black and Latino teenagers from Harlem were wrongly convicted of the attack. The men were finally exonerated in 2002 but not before they were vilified in the media and forced to serve time for a crime they did not commit. When They See Us tells the heartbreaking story of this miscarriage of justice in a miniseries for Netflix, created by Ava DuVernay. DuVernay also serves as a writer and director on the series.
