Legendary Maverick: Orson Welles

For our final episode, the boys take turns telling each other of the different eras of the life of the artist in his many mediums. Through the War of the Worlds, his brief childhood, Citizen Kane, his marriages and loves, political advocacy, exile, struggles to continue to create and neuroses, we find a funny, sensitive, adventurous and immeasurably talented fellow. The subjects chosen are really interesting. The “morning zoo” aesthetic of the hosts is insufferable. The main guy even reads in this overwrought RTV School dropout DJ voice. Cringe af. I’m surprised they don’t have a toilet flushing sound effect. And don’t we have enough “kicking back with my buds choppin it up” formatted podcasts? Okay I’m done now.
