Desde pequeña, Mara Katherina siempre tuvo su pasión clara – el baile. A sus 25 años, se mudó a Calgary desde Cuba con su esposo para comenzar una nueva vida. Sin embargo, esto no detuvo su motor, y fue en esta nueva ciudad donde su pasión por el baile ha seguido creciendo y la ha reconectado con sus raíces a través del jazz. 🎵✨

Boban Stojanović is a poet, a peace, LGBTQ2S+ and Human Right activist, TEDx speaker, and author of the poetry collection: “This Could Have Been Our Living Room".
Before arriving in Canada, he was the executive director and one of the founders of the Belgrade Pride Parade,which was held for the first time in 2001, and spoke at various seminars concerning LGBTQ2S+ issues.
For the past few years, Boban has worked at Calgary's Centre for Newcomers as the Vice President, Vulnerable Population Services, helping new arrivals from the LGBT2S community as well as refugees.

Michelle Christoffersen cares about the world and its people. She has a passion for connecting people to information and resources that can enhance their lives, mostly because when she was 25, she didn’t have access to tools and resources that would validate her experiences. 
Now in her fifties, Michelle recently found that she was autistic and queer by learning and educating herself through the vast information that is now available at our fingertips. Knowledge is power, and this knowledge gavea whole new meaning to Michelle's freedom in her fifties. 🎆
