In Joshua 14, this faithful servant stands before Joshua and boldly claims the very mountain promised to him forty-five years earlier: a rugged, giant-inhabited hill country called Hebron. Despite the long wilderness delay, the fortified cities, and the fearsome Anakites still dwelling there, Caleb declares with unwavering confidence: “Give me this mountain!” His secret? A different spirit, wholehearted devotion to God that kept his dream alive through decades of waiting.
