Project Inspire is an interview podcast created and produced by students in the Haslam College of Business at the University of Tennessee, Knoxville, and sponsored by Haslam's office of Student Engagement. In this episode we are joined by Weldon Wright, a serial entrepreneur who has made Knoxville his base of operations. Mr. Wright is the founder and owner of X World Studios, a digital marketing company that creates virtual content for its customers to advertise with. Weldon has always demonstrated the entrepreneurial spirit through his many ventures he attempted while in college.

In this episode, we are joined by Marianne Wanamaker – Dr. Wanamaker is an economist, former executive director of UT’s Howard H. Baker Jr. Center for Public Policy, and now dean of the recently converted Howard H. Baker Jr. School of Public Policy and Public Affairs, the first and only school of public policy and public affairs at any public university in Tennessee. Dr. Wanamaker is also the former chief domestic economist and senior labor economist at the White House Council of Economic Advisors as well as an award-winning teacher and researcher.

In this episode, we are joined by Molly Adams – Ms. Adams is the EVP, Chief Strategic Retail Officer at Fanatics, Inc., an American manufacturer and online retailer of licensed sports merchandise. Since graduating from UT, Ms. Adams has become a recognized leader in retail serving companies such as Anchor Blue Retail Group and The Walt Disney Company. Through her authentic, culture-driven leadership, Ms. Adams continues to drive strategic innovation in the merchandising, global brand and product development, and retail spaces.

Project Inspire is an interview podcast created and produced by students in the Haslam College of Business at the University of Tennessee, Knoxville, and sponsored by Haslam’s Office of Student Engagement. In this special episode, we are joined by 9 members of the Young Alumni Board – these board members have the opportunity to give back to Haslam through mentorship with current students and act as representatives of Haslam and the University as a whole in their local areas. During their spring annual meeting, we had the opportunity to ask these nine alumni rapid-style questions to give current students varied pieces of advice from successful young professionals as students prepare to enter the workforce and join the community of young alumni.

In this episode, we are joined by Lia Winter– Ms. Winter took inspiration from her mother’s ACL surgery complications and her own experiences recovering from sports injuries to develop EasyWhip, an innovative two-part needle used in orthopedic suturing. Ms. Winter fully embraced life as an entrepreneur, and after graduation from UT’s MS MBA program, she co-founded Winter Innovations, where she currently serves as CEO. Ms. Winter also highly values the importance of mentorship and stays connected to students, young professionals, and future entrepreneurs as a mentor.
