We at Illinois Wesleyan are the Titans. Prometheus was a Titan. He aided humanity by giving us fire. Prometheus promoted knowledge and cared for human prosperity. Fire is energy, it is transformation, it is prosperity. IWU strives to be the leading entrepreneurially liberal arts university in the country. We shed light on entrepreneurship and innovation. Like the light from Prometheus’ fire.

    Episode 8: Brenda Lessen Knoll

    Dr. Brenda Lessen Knoll is a nursing professor at IWU and innovator of the PIOMI therapy. It is a method used on preterm babies to help them transition to oral feeding allowing them to leave the hospital days earlier. Brenda talks about PIOMI, the training/consulting business she has founded, and her path in nursing education.
