Pratt in Canada and powerful conversion to the restored gospel. A rapid rise to apostleship, civic leadership in Nauvoo, and fierce loyalty to Joseph Smith. His firsthand account of the martyrdom at Carthage Jail — including the miraculous survival after being shot four times. Fearless missionary work in England, France, and Germany — including translating the Book of Mormon into French. Defending plural marriage amid growing persecution and refusing to compromise his faith.
