Customer Reviews
These kids are precious and must be protected at all costs
I have been catching up on the main Protean City Comics podcasts and they just constantly make me feel a whole mix of emotions for these heroes. The cast is phenomenal and the way they switch GMs seamlessly is both impressive and refreshing. PCC has been a huge help to me in running my own Masks TTRPG campaign.
And with Outstanding! starting up on the same channel, I was able to start this one from the beginning and even though only one episode is out, I will already make a Defend move for these children, no matter what. The tone is slightly different because the heroes are younger than the main PCC characters, but it's a fantastic and charming change of pace and I can't wait to follow the stories of these precious young superheroes!
Kids say the darndest things.
Stop Hack & Roll does a great job. Their players and GMs are top notch. I love how several of them take on the role of GM and how it gives the game such a diverse and interesting pacing. Keep up the great work!
Comic Colored Magic
Protean City Comics is a truly special part of my regular playlist: the rotating cast, GMs, and guest stars consistently work together to explore different, but thematically consistent stories in a city built from the ground up to incorporate supers. I’ve thrilled to the tales of alien gods thirsting for memories and planets alike, werewolves and demons and vampires competing for glory in a wrestling ring, the impending sale of the planet Earth to a space Vicount, the defeat and subsequent friendship of a ragtag group of young supers, and a surprisingly effective boxing clown. Whether your taste lies with magic, math, or martial arts, this show will satiate you. The cast and stories are refreshingly diverse, entertaining, and (occasionally!) thoughtful. Recommended without reservation!
