Mysterion

This is the kind of humility that the “me and my Bible alone” philosophy that permeates so much of Protestant denominations are missing. They are taking the beginning of Hebrews 12 seriously. Take God for them and God bless them!

I appreciate the whole aim of the show is to orient the framework of Christianity from a historical, patristic and scriptural context. Wes and Ethan offer interesting and accessible discussion covering issues of faith in a relaxed conversational format. Placing special emphasis on exploring the great mystery (mysterion) of our faith, they look at how spirituality and theology can mutually inform each other as we strive to follow Christ and how this was the pursuit of the church fathers since the earliest days of the Church. By dialoging with these early theologians/mystics and reflecting on their own life experiences, Wes and Ethan create a space where we can learn to appreciate how both head and heart may converge as we lean into the great mystery of God.
