    Record floods adds urgency to King County early warning system

    Before records floods forced evacuations and breeched river levees, King County has been working on upgrades to an early warning system. First responders in helicopters used bull horns to wake up residents in the flooded town of Pacific.     A new venue and two day Super Plunge supports 12-thousand Special Olympics Washington athletes.  The popular event moves to Seattle's Magnuson Park on Lake Washington with the same goal of helping individuals with developmental disabilities.
