Sara Young Wang

Hi there! I’m Sara, a career coach with some perhaps unconventional, some might say radical perspectives on work. This is a space for real and honest conversation about finding fulfillment in your career, specifically all the ins and outs of making a career change toward work that you actually want to do. And even if you don’t know what you want to do, or feel like you have no clue, that’s ok. We’ll talk about that too. Join me to inspire your own journey of living your most authentic, free and fully expressed life. Yes, we’re gonna talk about work, but also life! Because it’s all connected, loves. We’re gonna get existential, spiritual and deeply reflective about what’s really going on inside. What we’re really talking about is how you want to spend your time here. And you get to create anything you want. Is it messy? 100% Yes. Making changes to find alignment is deeply emotional and personal and brings up all your fears and conditioning. But if we move through it all, on the other side, we get to be fully here in the world as ourselves! If what I’m talking about resonates with what you’re moving through in your own life and you would like some support, I offer one-on-one coaching sessions. You Get To Be Where You Are

When one thinks of making a career change there can be this energy of needing to “get ready” for change, of psyching yourself up, or thinking you need to push and force yourself to get out there and make something happen…and an urgency to make something happen NOW! It’s totally exhausting and self-inflicting of a lot of pain.  In this episode, I suggest there’s another way. I talk about letting life unfold, letting the next steps come to you, no pushing or forcing to make something happen or making moves that are hard on your nervous system. And to do that we have to learn to wait and listen to when the energy for action is up under us. Maybe we can let life unfold, maybe we don’t have to try so hard, or at all…if we’re willing to let go of control.  It helps if we land in a realization that it’s safe to not know what’s next, it’s safe to be in this liminal space and fall into not knowing ‘what you’re doing.’ And if we stop striving for external (and internal!) circumstances to be ‘just so’ before you are enough. You get to be exactly where you are.
