Relaxing, a great afternoon podcast

The choice of literature to review makes for a really comforting atmosphere in this podcast. Feline crimefighters and their ridiculous human owner? My kind of listening material! And it does make me want to pick up the books as well. The hosts point out the shortcomings of the books and especially their protagonist but it's done with obvious love for the stories in spite of all that. There's a really calming mood to this, which makes it great for doing laundry and other chores. If you like hearing people wax poetic about a series that they really enjoy and poke fun at it at the same time, this is a keeper. I also love how most episodes include cat updates on the sisters' cats.

Cozy, comforting, purrrfect

If you’re looking for a relaxed podcast about a light topic, this one is for you. Listening to these two light hearted sisters discuss cozy mysteries and kitties truly brings a smile to my face. This podcast radiates the same feeling as wrapping up in a blanket with some tea on the couch. Keep up the good work ladies!

My cat gives it an hour of purrs!

So me and my cat, Lewis, just listened to the first hour. Not sure if he understands what’s going on or he just enjoys their voices, but he patiently sat and listened to the whole thing purring the whole time.

That aside, I enjoyed the banter between the sisters. This was a podcast I didn’t even know I wanted. I love cozy mysteries and so it inspired to get me back into those. But the thing about the podcast I LOVE is it feels like hanging out with friends and catching up with life. I love it!

Also, everyone at work has been asking me to borrow my The Cat Who Books, since seeing me with them, so I know this podcast will apply to many.
