Worth Your Time!
I was so excited to find Dominic Done’s podcast! I first heard him speak when he visited my church in Sacramento. After one sermon, I found myself looking up and listening to the sermons from his own church, and listened to one everyday for a while- he’s just that good. He is knowledgeable about scripture, and discusses it in a way that really makes it come across as the living and active word of God. I’ve listened to 3 episodes on the podcast in 1 day, and have found them fascinating. Check this out, it is definitely worth your time!
Excellent podcast!
We have been really inspired and encouraged by this podcast and Dominic’s book- When Faith Fails. Dom is bold in the way he thinks critically about faith and invites challenging questions into the conversation. We highly recommend this podcast and the book!
Tony Clark interview
So I finally understand the thought process behind the “justice minded church.” I’m really disturbed by the lack of wisdom here. I don’t know who Tony Clark is but he is way off base in his understanding. So millions of aborted babies, fatherlessness and mass murder in the black community is NOTHING compared to some white folks who committed murder? You guys are lifting up a handful of crimes and saying, “let’s not talk about the other horrors that happen until we RESOLVE racism.” News flash: there will always be racist people. There will always be both black and white criminals who put themselves in harms way. There will always be sin until Christ returns. You guys have stepped off the deep end of Cultural Nonsense in order to play Savior; all the while leaving God out of it, pretending that God isn’t enough, and we can “listen away” the evils of the world. Horrible podcast!
