    236: Very Intentional Hiking

Welcome back to Pursuing Pixels.  We've got the full trio in the house once again this week, and we're chock-full of gaming goodies to dive into, so let's get things started! Kevin gets things started off with one final update on his time with Everybody's Golf: Hot Shots on Nintendo Switch 2, after grinding through the majority of the main campaign mode, and experiencing all 10 courses that the game has to offer. Randall takes the reigns from there, quickly steering us over into the retro realm, to shine a spotlight on a couple of arcade gems that he's been firing up lately on his Switch — including Gunbarich, another shoot 'em up (with a twist) from Psikyo, alongside the almost-never-released Clockwork Aquario from the folks over at Westone. Finally, John closes things out with some (more) thoughts on both of his resolution games for this year.  First, he's digging a little deeper into his time with DELTARUNE, followed by an update on Death Stranding, after recently putting some time into Metal Gear Solid V.   Timestamps: Everybody's Golf: Hot Shots  -  00:01:50 Gunbarich  -  00:13:16 Clockwork Aquario  -  00:17:58 DELTARUNE  -  00:28:56 Death Stranding (& Metal Gear Solid V)  -  00:34:18   Thanks for taking the time to listen!  If you'd like to find us elsewhere on the Internet, you can find us at:  🌐 Links to everything:  https://pursuingpixels.carrd.co/ 👾 Join us on Discord:  https://discord.gg/VJMpaRQmvt 🙏 Support us on Patreon:  https://www.patreon.com/pursuingpixels

234: Suddenly, I'm Carrying That Pizza

Welcome back to Pursuing Pixels.  It's just Kevin & John in the house again this week, but we've got all sorts of gaming goodies to dig into, so let's get right into the action!  (Randall will be back in action with us for the next proper episode of the PP Podcast.) John kicks things off by spotlighting some of his recent 1-bit pixel art adventures on the Steam Deck — leading things off with some love for the Zelda-inspired Master Key, followed up by a quick shoutout to Minit Fun Racer (and the original game that it's based on). After that, Kevin revisits Untitled Goose Game from House House, after being inspired to fire it back up again by the hype surrounding their recently released, online-multiplayer-only adventure, Big Walk. Finally, we close things out with yet another "gush fest" (patent pending) for one of our all-time favorite indie developers, Ojiro Fumoto (aka "Moppin"), as John bounces back & forth between both Downwell and Poinpy.   Timestamps: John's Recent 1-Bit Adventures  -  00:01:26 ↳  Master Key  -  00:01:50 ↳  Minit Fun Racer (and the original Minit)  -  00:07:37 Untitled Goose Game  -  00:13:32 Mobile Masterpieces from "Moppin"  -  00:25:46 ↳  Downwell & Poinpy   Thanks for taking the time to listen!
