Episode 31 - The Little Things - w/ Matt Pagni

Pursuit 4 Purpose, hosted by Kirk Cabana, is joined by Matt Pagni. This is a great chat about the little things! Matt brings an honest perspective and passion for doing things the right way on and off the field. He pitched collegiately at Feather River College under Reed Peters. Received his bachelor’s degree in political science and master’s degree in secondary education from the University of Nevada as well as a special education endorsement from Grand Canyon University. Matt is currently a special education teacher at Reed HS in Sparks, NV where he teaches kids with high functioning autism. On the baseball field, Matt has served as a HS Varsity pitching coach for 7 years, 5 at Galena HS and 2 years at Reed HS. He has served as the head coach of numerous travel baseball teams, including a stint as a 13u head softball coach in Alaska! Currently he is on a sabbatical from coaching to make up for some lost time with his wife Lindsay, his son tony, and his daughter Cece. But don’t let the sabbatical fool you, he still brings major value to the game with his contributions through social media where he brings awareness to many aspects of the game that seem to be getting lost as homeruns take center stage, this is why I wanted to talk with him about why the little things mean so much, and how they add up to big things!
