Pushing Through Loss

Kelila Green Siciliano

After losing a surrogacy pregnancy at 16 weeks and 5 days, Kelila wanted to create a safe space for others who have become pregnancy loss survivors; to share their stories; to connect with others who have become pregnancy loss survivors; to explore how they found their inner strength warriors through their loss. Join me every week for some raw conversations surrounding pregnancy loss, still birth, and infant death. Find support in the stories we share and in this community of survivors. For the reason you found this podcast, I am sorry. However, I am really glad you are here.

How Atoosa Benji pushed through life's curveballs to become a midwife

Send us a text Atoosa was born in Iran and emigrated to the UK when she was in pre-school. After being raised in the UK, her family moved to the United States.  Atoosa is a licensed midwife as well as a doula and doula trainer. Midwifery really is a calling. It is one of the most powerful and rewarding professions in the world. Atoosa says, "I can not imagine doing anything else. I am grateful for every client I teach, every belly I touch, every family I support, every doula I train, and every slippery baby I have the privilege of welcoming into the world. Most of all, I am grateful to all the people who taught me to trust birth, be astute and prepared, and listen with an open heart to every birthing person.
